This book is a collection of poems that were inspired by things going on in my life over the course of my life from high school till 2013. I intend to publish more later, I have already started another collection for another book.
I find inspiration in a lot of places and areas of my life some of which are despair, love, and adventure. I have also found it in places I've not experienced personally such as military life. I get that from my dad who was in the Navy during the Korean and the lack of recognition that they receive from the government.
Adventure is also runs deep in my blood, in fact I live by J.R.R. Tolkiein's words "Not all who wander are lost." I love to travel and do so when I can. I have not travelled abroad as of yet, there is still too much to see in America.
There is inspiration all around us and in us, no need to look far for it. I have also lived in despair at times and have found that writing can be not only therapeutic, but give hope. I know it seems corny that it gives hope, but when you have seen where you have been and the scars in black and white it is then you realize that you are stronger than you thought.
I hope these poems will help you find hope in despair and inspiration in hope.
